Your contribution to something big

IoT/Cloud brings great advantages – and huge security challenges. How is privacy maintained? How can we provide seamless access to IoT/Cloud Services while ensuring the privacy and security of our end-users? It’s an exciting challenge for a data analyst with experience in deep learning to solve. Our newly formed Advance Development (AD) group will address these issues across a diverse business portfolio - mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods, and energy and building technology – with complex enterprise/customer needs globally. We call it “making a real dent in the universe.”

Some of your day-to-day duties:

·  Develop new frameworks and applications in diverse areas like Cloud, IoT, Web business, Social etc.
·  Provide thought leadership to the organization on frameworks, architecture, security related to big data and deep learning
·  Participate in a unique opportunity to build and drive the adoption of deep learning based product into next-generation Bosch products
·  Continuously research and evaluate advances in deep learning software frameworks and algorithms and find use cases for its adoption
·  Leverage developments made in other Bosch business units like corporate research and research and technology

What distinguishes you

Required Skill Set

·  Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar fields
·  Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of deep/machine learning
·  Expertise in deep learning, deep neural networks, convolutional neural networks, random forests, classifiers, feature representations, and/or related techniques
·  Experience working with one or more deep learning frameworks: Caffe, Theano, Torch, TensorFlow, MXNet or similar
·  Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including but not limited to C/C++, Linux, Python, R and Java programming languages
·  Hands-on experience in building prototypes to validate proof-of-concepts and collaborate with business units to adopt the concept to drive growth and create long term value

Preferred Additional Skills

·  Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal
·  Doctorate or publishing record in Deep/machine learning, security, software architecture and have strong tie-up/network with experts/academics/researcher
·  Team player and great collaborator; experience working with an international team spread across geography
