Your contribution to something big

Responsibilities:

·  As vehicle systems engineer you design cross domain architecture concepts including actuators, sensors and powertrain control systems, vehicle dynamics and electric systems for various vehicle classes, mainly with hybridization.
·  You drive the optimization process for the whole system to meet/exceed energy consumption, performance and comfort targets which correlate to the customer’s requirements and design philosophy, while considering all interactions between the individual subsystems.
·  Our extensive customer portfolio includes a spectrum of major manufacturers from luxury and sports car segments to commercial vehicles including highly advanced technical applications.
·  Provide technical consultation for the customers.
·  Requirements management at vehicle system level.
·  Participate in system design and system simulation.
·  Coordinate the implementation of the system concept with consideration for all internal, external and legal requirements.
·  Developing and extending professional networks within Bosch and to external business partners.

What distinguishes you

Requirements:

·  Bachelor's engineering degree, preferably in automotive engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
·  Broad knowledge in vehicle/product systems development.
·  Strong negotiating skills, highly self-motivated, results oriented (drives issue resolution).
·  Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
·  Very good command of written and spoken English.
·  Willing and able to travel ~10% (both domestic and international)

Preferred:

·  Professional vehicle development experience and/or in powertrain control systems, vehicle dynamics systems or electric systems.
