Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will be the quality representative in the Project Core Team. In this role, you will drive the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and assure that all processes meet customer requirements.

You will also assure the delivery of all Quality deliverables at the project gates, according to the agreed acceptance criteria.

You will alert and if necessary block any non-conforming products or documents from being released and will manage the quality function records required for the project.

The ultimate measure of success in this role will be the customer satisfaction related towards the delivery of a product or system according to the customer quality and safety requirements, on time, and from Bid till warranty phase.

In your role you will:

- Review customer specifications and define quality requirements (incl. compliance to law, standards, product history book content) for project execution. PQMP which includes the Advance product quality planning (APQP) specific requirements. Define and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan;
- Produce/support sub-plans when required, such as Software Quality Plan, Audit Plan, Inspection and Test Plan;
- Manage the non-conforming products and quality related customer complaints, including issuing corrective action request/ preventative action recommendations; managing/tracking of corrective action requests;
- Ensure the First Article Inspection (vehicle or equipment projects)/First System Installation Inspection (Systems or Signaling projects) by the customer – internal or external, as well as coordinate the proper open items management;
- Reject or block any non-conforming deliverables, which could result in safety or quality related problems;
- Manage the Quality Function Records related to a project/contract (ex. Reports, quality records required by safety case, test reports, FAI reports, product history book);
- Review and sign all CDRLs for format and structure;
- Participate in Gate Reviews, MOR meetings, CCB, Core Team Meetings, Project Lessons Learned/Feedback meetings and other meetings as Quality Representative for Project.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You have a Bachelor degree in Engineering;
- You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a relevant role;
- You possess strong people skills;
- You are customer service oriented;
- You understand the BT project management processes and tools;
- You own knowledge of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP);
- You have experience in Quality function (OQA, QM, SQA).
