Bombardier Business Aircraft’s Wichita Service Center is located at the original Learjet manufacturing site in the Air Capital of the World. Its dedicated staff of nearly 250 is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as interior modifications, avionics installations, paint and provide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft. In April 2015, the facility expanded with an addition of 38,000 square feet of hangar space, bringing its total square footage to 113,000 and enabling the facility to service more aircraft, including Global aircraft.

We have an exciting opportunity for a summer 2017 Business Analyst Intern, located in Wichita, Kansas. This position will be working within our Information Technology Department and report to the IT Manager.

In your role, you will:

- Actively participate in the hardware/software renewal process (including creating documentation, contacting customers, obtaining signatures, etc).
- Review monthly financial information for accuracy
- Research Purchase Order (PO) accrual/reversal process looking for issues and resolving as needed
- Process vendor invoices
- Review the current IT Asset list and process disposition documentation as needed
- Complete monthly Compliance reporting
- Identify any efficiency opportunities on the above and any other assigned tasks

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You are currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree (MIS, or Finance preferred) or Master's Degree in related field
- You are available to work 20-30 hours per week
- You are a team player and are results oriented
- You have basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
