Global Market Operations also known as COCE (client operating center of excellence) is further divided into 4 departments i.e. Trade Processing & Support, Product Control, Client Management & Change Management. Product Control in the wider market outside of BNP is Middle Office. Product Control consists of streams like Documentation & Reconciliation, Trade Support, P&L & Trading Portfolio & controls. Product Control teams are in regular contact with Market Front Office, Regional Back Office's and Regional Finance & other support teams for their BAU'

Ø The role requires a strong understanding of the underlying products and an ability to liaise with all areas of the business including Sales, Trading, Middle Office, Risk and the clients to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Detailed description of the role:
Ø Key accountabilities
ü Ensure all prices are updated and checks are performed per required due diligence on data quality and completed within agreed timeline.
ü Understanding of different pricing sources like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit etc.
ü Awareness of different corporate action events and its impact on pricing.
ü Timely escalation of batch fails, Investigation and resolution of any discrepancy, involving interaction with various internal areas (Front Office, Legal, Credit Risk Management and Operations)
ü Resolving breaks with vendor sources/ Risks.
ü UAT testing
ü Strong analytical skills required to perform complex analysis on the volumes and process flow to identify the root cause.
ü Suggest innovative solutions to improve efficiency and provide the AVP with a detailed breakdown to quantify the time/ headcount savings from the initiative.
ü Basic knowledge of capital market, and investment banking.
ü Basic knowledge of different economic factors impacting price calculation.
ü Knowledge of different market instruments and their method of pricing.

Specific Qualifications (if required)
· Skilled in MS Office applications.
· Graduate with minimum 2 years of Investment Banking experience
· Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship management, communication and teamwork.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Well organised with good time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasks
· Proactive and positive attitude and desire to make a difference.
· Flexible to work global hours.
