Position Purpose
Associate joining the team should be valuable in facilitating Corporate Action event information from Custodian to Investment Manager/Client and facilitate client elections. Also we do record keeping activities to mitigate the risk that impacts fund valuation on back of a Corporate action event.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· The key function of the Associate is to input transaction on a daily basis with high level of accuracy
· Understanding and adhering to respective cutoff times within various applications and activities within the team
· Accounting knowledge and understanding of swift messages (MT202. MT103, MT210, MT304, MT299, MT199)
· Investigate and clear Reconciliation breaks on a daily basis and escalate breaks to Validator wherever necessary
· Should perform EOD / BOD activities
· Should work towards achieving the agreed KPI for the team
· Answering queries via email, Telephone
· Should ensure no emails, instructions are left pending without action
· Completing the Instruction checklist to ensure all the task are effectively performed
· Prioritization of various instructions received in order to meet the cutoff
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· Accounting knowledge and knowledge on Swift messages is an added advantage
· Zeal to learn new things
· Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel will be useful
· Must be prepared to work in flexible timings
· Good communication skills
