The Luxembourg branch plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services.
BNP Paribas Securities Services - Luxembourg Branch has an immediate opening for an experienced professional according to the following profile :
IT APS - Application Support FA - Business Officer-SME
Mission :
· Be expert-SME-with Multifonds software and all his satellites (Pcontrol…), provide a high level of functional support.
· Analysis and solving of complex accounting issues, raised change requests to the vendor, insured the follow up of issues until the delivery of patch corrections.
· Understand prerequisites for accounting migrations and specific accounting events (merger, split of share classes…).
· Contribute to the database stability and consistency.
Key responsibilities
· Ensure:
· Efficiency of the solution applied in production to solve issues.
· Testing of new MFFA functionalities
· Proper Communication to Operational Users regarding item resolution and status
· Internal Global Communication between APS IT and developments teams
· The right application of SLA and fulfill our duties.
· Sharing your expertise with the team
· Analyse:
· Provide an added-value to set efficient work around in BAU
· Avoid recurring incidents
· Write:
· Procedures and documentations related to the work arounds applied
· Procedures about new functionalities
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Profile :
· IT or Business degree
· 5 years of experience in production support activity
· Team spirit requested àWorking in a good team spirit is a need to be able to work under pressure.
· Analytical skills à being familiar with figures of accounting reports and rules, including taxes figures.
· Communication skills à Expresses his/her messages, both orally and in writing, in an effective, organized way, which is appropriate to the audience being addressed.
· Autonomousàbeing able to lead investigations to solve issues by mobilizing all resources/departments requested.
· Flexibility à be ready to be involved in late shift.
· Ability to report à Keeps his/her superiors informed about his/her activities and the progress of his/her files in an effective way. Draws attention to useful information, risks and sensitive points.
· Client focus à Does everything possible to achieve internal or external customer satisfaction by identifying the customer's needs and providing them with the appropriate solution.
· Technical and Business skills à Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, Good knowledge of Funds industry and Multifonds software
· Languages à English and French are required
