The “Global Markets Operations Transversal Funding” team under supervision of the “Global Markets Operations Settlement and Accounting Transversal” Department within the Global Markets Operations Trade Processing organization. The “Global Markets Operations Transversal Funding” team is in charge of ensuring adequate funding of Clearing & Custody cash accounts.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the Global Markets Operations Transversal Funding team, the Account Opening Officer has a specific role to play in supporting the business from within the Funding team. You will be in charge of opening new accounts (and monitor existing ones). Your major areas of responsibilities will cover ao.:
· Account Opening Process
· Documentation production: Produce Opening Account Forms (Legal, SLA, POA, Delegation of Powers, Proposal Fees)
· Interact with Legal and business to have the necessary signatures
· Interact with Tax to obtain the necessary information before activity can start
· Interaction with Central departments for setting the necessary authorization levels on the accounts
· Interaction with BO teams on how the new account will be integrated in the different systems
· Account Maintenance Process
· Be the contact person for business when new activities are set up and require an account to conduct business - Advisory Function.
· Account closing process
· Perform controls on the different accounts in use, for example a yearly review of the USD accounts used by business
· Account amendments: either because of internal changes or changes at the correspondent
· Other responsibilities
· Work in close collaboration with your colleagues of the funding team. The activities are closely related
· Participate to projects whenever needed

PROFILE

· Bachelor Degree in a relevant area
· Fluency in English is mandatory
· Knowledge in French is a significant plus
· 0 to 3 years financial/banking industry experience with an emphasis in Operations
· Knowledge of financial markets and products with emphasis on Equity Derivatives. Specialization in Listed Derivatives or OTC product is highly appreciable
· Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Pack, mainly Excel
· Detail oriented profile, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Autonomy and proactive
· Motivated and willing to absorb new concepts, organization and IT environment
· Rigorous, well-organized with a structured and logical approach
· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, in English
· Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet established deadlines, in a fast pace work environment
· Team spirit
