Job description

The Scheduling teams support each of the channel controllers by planning and creating the most competitive and imaginative schedules to deliver the individual channel and overall Television strategies.  The Schedule Co-ordinator works with the Head of Planning and Scheduling and Schedule Manager/Scheduler to create these schedules and liaises with various departments to ensure all information in the scheduling system is accurate and up-to-date.

Role Responsibility

You will support the channel team by ensuring the integrity of historic, current and forward scheduling and planning information within our scheduling system OnAir. You’ll be the channel’s key authority for certain detailed information exchange with Ericsson, programme suppliers and other TV business support teams. Along with these, you’ll gather, input and maintain scheduling and cost information and manage versions regarding repeats in OnAir.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to input and work accurately with large volumes of complex information. You’ll have enthusiasm for and demonstrable interest in television, scheduling and programmes, and a desire to deliver a quality programming schedule to our audiences. You’ll also have experience of reacting to changes to plans and scenarios with the ability to quickly and accurately update systems to reflect the changes.

There are two positions available:

· Schedule Coordinator – 12 months Fixed Term Contract
· Schedule Coordinator – 6 months Fixed Term Contract

The roles will be working across all channels - BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4 & Daytime
