Description

BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur was established in 2005. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the shared services center has nearly 700 employees and provides functional services in the areas of Finance, Controlling, Information Services, Human Resources, Environment, Health & Safety, Procurement and Import-Export Order Management Services to BASF companies and affiliates in 17 markets across the Asia Pacific region. BASF has three other shared services centers located in Berlin and Ludwigshafen in Germany and in Montevideo, Uruguay, that cover Europe and the Americas.

Objective

·  The Workflow & Business Solutions team develops and handles Web-capable applications in the areas of workflows, content management and knowledge management. Job Description

·  Code and test software based on software specifications and design.
·  To work on specific topics in the field of workflow system and low coding application development that are driven by agile methods: Lean UX development, Scrum approach with sprint planning, UI development.
·  Required to work with various new middleware and portal technologies and advise both business consultants and customers.
·  Work with other service providers and IBPs during development of software solutions in workflow system development and automation.
·  Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software.
·  Prepare technical concepts, work with various items, including BPMN models and prepare estimates of cost and labor.
·  Process modeling and process advising. Requirements Education

·  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent Working Experience

·  Minimum 5 years of working experience in software development Technical & Professional Knowledge

·  Java, Ruby Programming Language, Java Script
·  CSS, HTML, XML, Web Services/APIs technology
·  SQL Language e.g. MSSQL
·  Exposure to new topics and technologies, including RPA (robotic process automation), AI (artificial intelligence) and Apache Velocity.
