Job description
General responsibilities:
EHS and Information protection:
· Live and promote "we never compromise on safety". Follow all environment, health and safety related precautions
· Business related information and documents should be protected against misuse or loss by appropriate Information protection measures
Compliance and Code of Conduct:
· Actively represent BASF Group interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines as well CORE values and principles.
Strategy related focus:
· Be aware and support the implementation of the company strategies (both Global and Regional level) within one’s scope of responsibility
Core tasks:
· Be the first point of contact of employees and managers for all HR related topics
· Ensures that Employee Development process implementation is fully in place in the area of responsibility
· Monitoring performance management process and providing support/consultancy to
department managers
· Runs headcount planning process and Personnel Cost Budgeting in coordination of department managers
· Runs and monitors recruitment related processes and activities
· Actively contributes and follows up the onboarding program for newcomers
· Identifies training needs, prepares training planning and monitors implementation
· Ensures C&B related policies implemented according to BASF requirements and runs salary rounds in coordination with C&B Expert in BASF and department managers
· Involvement in the (further) development of the HR guidelines and products.
· Responsible for personnel related topics and ensuring employee relation compliance with labor law.
· Contribute to Regional HR projects as country representative
E ducation and Qualification required for the position
Education: Education & training required
plus additional time-extensive job-related training including formal examination (e.g. PhD, BS - MS, MBA)
· University degree in human resources, psychology, business or similar qualification
· Professional Certificate in HR Management is a plus
Working Experience:
· Breadth/depth of experience required
· Experience working with similar systems in a similar business environment is a plus
Industry and/or Country specific requirements:
· Excellent knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law
Technical & Professional Knowledge:
· Excellent Knowledge of HR Processes and tools
IT skills:
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications
· SAP User
Language skills (level):
· Fluent in English
