The BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur was established in 2005. Located in Kuala Lumpur, it has approximately 700 employees and provides functional services in the areas of Finance, Controlling, Information Services, Human Resources, Environment, Health & Safety, Procurement, and Import-Export Order Management to BASF companies and affiliates in 17 markets across Asia Pacific. BASF also has three other Shared Service Centers that cover Europe and the Americas, located in Berlin and Ludwigshafen, Germany, and Montevideo, Uruguay.

Global Digital Services (GDS) is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our MISSION is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. 

We are the global product team for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and you will be as

Global RPA Engineer responsible for among others setting, reviewing scripts and enhancing global RPA standards, scripts and bot-configuration with UiPath and boosting digitalization at BASF

Main Tasks

·  Act as a Global RPA Engineer responsible for among others setting, reviewing scripts and enhancing global RPA standards, scripts and bot-configuration with UiPath and boosting digitalization at BASF
·  Reporting and working in a global team led by GDE/KA, providing services and tasks globally together with the other RPA product team members.
·  Quality and sustainability assurance
·  Technical steering and quality management
·  Assure compliance to global processes, guidelines and policies
·  Automation
·  Manage and deliver scripting and automation as a service
·  Defining and developing of libraries, frameworks and custom activities
·  Trainings, exchange, and support on best practices, supporting the BASF organization specially citizen developers
·  Administrative tasks
·  Dispatcher
·  Scheduling/Orchestration
·  Incidents
·  Consult customers and develop Digital solutions for BASF as part of the Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur



·  Degree in Informatics, Business Informatics or in a comparable field

Working Experience

·  Experienced developer with 2 or more years’ experience in at least 2 programming languages additional to UiPath like Java, .Net, C (+,++, #), R, Python, etc.Prior experience in IT hardware logistics desired
·  Successfully completed the UiPath RPA Advanced Developer, Business Analyst and RPA Implementation Methodology
·  Develope and manage for more than 2 years successful complex RPA implementations with UiPath Studio, Robot and Orchestrator (min. interfaces SAP, Excel with macros, Outlook, IE based sites, SharePoint, OCR, DataTables, own customer activities, Orchestrator Queues, etc).

·  Successfully completed the UiPath RPA Advanced Developer, Business Analyst and RPA Implementation Methodology
·  Ability to steer citizen developers ans business partners to ensure consistent and reliable scripts and service.
