  Objectives of the Position

Reporting to the Head of Management Consulting Asia Pacific, you will support internal management consulting project teams and workstreams with business analytics, visual graphic support and desktop research. You should achieve project delivery efficiency, increase standardization across projects and learn consulting skills through on-the-job training. The overall objective is to increase value for BASF by efficient project delivery.
    Job Responsibilities
· 
Conduct business analytics such as Profit & Loss analysis, business cases and data modelling on strategic projects or Regional Business Unit (RBU) specific projects through direct liaison with BU or RBUs and countries and alignment with internal counterparts of the clients’ side with minimum supervision

· 
Provide visual graphic support by preparing PowerPoint slides, and be responsible for ensuring the standards in layout, design and quality in alignment with BASF corporate design and management consulting team’s requirements

· 
Be responsible for the operations and logistics of workshops with internal clients within the Asia Pacific region, translating outcome into clearly defined actions and leading follow-up actions with internal clients

· 
Support the Head of Management Consulting Asia Pacific in organizing and conducting info sessions and recruitment events with business schools including invitations and presentation materials preparation, independently leading the liaison with external parties, logistic support and post-event follow-up.

· 
Support project teams in designing and conducting questionnaires, analyzing results and translating them into meaningful measures for internal clients to identify pain points, business improvement and/or growth opportunities within the region

· 
Proactively identify, propose and drive further improvement for internal processes within the Management Consulting team

· 
Constantly develop and improve core consulting skills by closely interacting with project teams, taking over separate workstreams. Build consulting specific skills in stakeholder management, analytics and hypothesis driven recommendation development on the job
  Requirements
· 
Master’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, Chemistry or relevant disciplines

· 
3 to 4 years of relevant working experience in Consulting, Project Management, or Controlling

· 
Working experience in a large multinational corporation with relevant links to BASF or Management Consultancy

· 
Practical experience in either one of the following: Business Analytics, Profit improvement, organizational change, project management, or Post Merger Integration

· 
Proven track record of a steep learning curve and ability look beyond the obvious

· 
Strong analytical skills

· 
High proficiency in Power BI, Tableu, Excel and PowerPoint are required while Microsoft Access, Excel VBA are considered favourable

· 
Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an international team
