To receive, acknowledge, count, balance and process business and corporate deposits on a daily basis.

What you'll give our customers
Your role will consists of a Business Process Perspective, so you will be scanning and receiving deposits from Workflow officers, check for tampering on bags, action the cash count, pay postal orders and action the cash differences. Customer Perspective also plays a role in this job description, so you will need to process all deposit slips fast and accurately after counting an balancing, ensure the Teller controller checks all clients deposits, as well as meeting all the agreed targets. You will also be required to have Financial Perspective by managing shortages and surpluses, maintain targets and following balancing procedures. You will gain development by contributing to lean culture, maintaining equipment and adhering to the legislation.

Desired profile

What you'll need
The success of everyone at Absa is measured by our ability to put our customers at the center of everything we do. To achieve this you will need the following:
·  NQF Level 4: Grade 12
·  Minimum 6 months working experience as a bulk teller
·  Clear criminal record
