About - The Chief Data Office sits within IIT and is primarily responsible for the data governance and reference data for Barclays UK. Some of the key objectives of the function are:

· Data governance, policy monitoring and execution

· Data quality implementation & remediation

· Data management and delivery

· Own, leverage and adoption of reference data



About CDO – Advocacy and CRM
The Advocacy and CRM team is primarily responsible for the design, delivery and adoption of tools that provide customer relationship and service management capabilities to our customers. Within this portfolio Salesforce CRM facilitates engagement of our customers and third parties through “Relationship based” and “Third Party” channels.

Overall purpose of role

The role is for Salesforce developer for all BUK Salesforce applications. The person will be responsible for designing and developing all applications including Salesforce community based portals, standalone force.com and mobile apps.

Collaborating with Architects, PMs and other developers as well as support and Infrastructure teams during and for the Design and development of the software components within the project scope, ensuring quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness in order to support the high performance delivery of change projects.

Key Accountabilities

As a Salesforce Developer you shall be required to own/support

· will be responsible for creating the Technical Design from Business Requirements

· will have to provide accurate estimates for the technical changes and make sure the timelines are achieved

· work with the BA's and other component teams closely

· help the testing teams during the Test Planning phase and assist with the test cases preparation

Person Specification

· Strong hands on experience in Force.com customization

· Strong in web services, SOAP, REST, XML and workflow

· Experience in data migration with using Apex Data loader and other data loading tool

· Salesforce Developer certifications preferred

· Having strong hands on the JavaScript libraries like AngularJS, Bootstrap, and JQuery etc.

· In-depth understanding of SFDC CRM application

· Participate in software development on the Salesforce.com platform

· Translate simple to complex user requirements into functional and actionable software within the Salesforce environment

· Good grasping power to learn new things quickly and to understand the Client's requirements.

· Experience with GIT
