We are currently hiring for an Internal Communications & Training Support o join us for an initial 6 month contract based in London

As Internal Communications & Training Support you will provide assistance and support to the Comms & Training Manager, including providing input to the successful completion of both the communications and training strategies. The role also hold responsibility for assisting in a range of programme tasks to help track, manage and drive successful completion of the overall SRP Programme

About the SRP

Structural Reform sometimes referred to from a UK perspective as ‘ring-fencing', aims to create a safer and more resilient banking system within which institutions will be more easily resolved without access to government funds, the regulatory requirements driving Structural reform vary in different countries but for Barclays it is principally driven by those of the UK and the US.

As an Internal Communications & Training Support, your main responsibilities will involve:

Support of the delivery of, but not limited to:

· Client Collateral
· Colleague Collateral
· Channels
· Cross Programme communication coordination functions
· Training Material Development
· Training Channels
· Training Delivery
· Support and maintenance of suitable plans, schedules and change processes
· Input to, RAID functions and logs including timely identification and escalation of relevant RAID items
· Provision of suitable reports and status dashboards as required


As an Internal Communications & Training Support, your skills and qualifications will include:

· Corporate experience in stakeholder engagement and/or management
· Strong understanding of consultation principles and tools and ability to apply these effectively
· Experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder networks
· Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills
· Understanding of issues management in a corporate reputation context
· Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
