BANKIRR is an early stage fintech startup, with a passion for unlocking huge inefficiencies in one of the largest industries on the planet - the world of infrastructure.

We are looking for a talented, confident and independent web developer who is willing to try something new. The right candidate will be thrown in the deep end while working alongside two (relatively) young high-finance veterans, with backgrounds spanning project finance, private equity & tech. There is therefore a uniquely high level of opportunity to learn about finance & the rapidly evolving world of fintech from this role, as well as the opportunity to gain pre-seed round equity exposure.

The role will have a lot of autonomy and flexibility, so it is important that the candidate is self-motivated and has the drive to work alone, either at cafes or at home, as required.

Desired profile

The successful applicant will have good knowledge of the following technologies:

• HTML5 & CSS3
• Python / Django
• JQuery & JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive web development
• D3 / Chart.js highly advantageous
• Adheres to coding standards, best practices and procedures

The successful applicant will also have a demonstrable portfolio of previous work.

Remuneration is £24,000 per annum pro rated, with 50% payable in stock. With a fundraise looming and stellar growth expectations ahead, this may well turn out to be the highest paid internship you'll ever see!

For those interested, there is a possibility of the internship developing into a full-time role.
