Primary contact who is responsible for all loan processing activities within a designated market. Responsible for a team of associates. Connects people to team goals that are aligned with the goals of the company. Eliminates roadblocks to achieving goals. Makes associates aware of how their work fits into larger processes that impact our customers. Make the associates and customers central to how success is measured. Ability to manage at a high level of detail while maintaining awareness of overall process and team results. Interacts in a range of roles, is comfortable being a follower, leader or teammate as the occasion demands. Uses learning experiences as opportunities to learn for the future. Drives process improvement. Adapts quickly to new demands and challenges. Works with Credit Policy, Compliance, Legal and Direct Lending. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Since your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in your immediate termination. Required Skills: 2+ years experience in processing Conventional, FHA, and VA loans. Proven Leadership skills and the ability to manage process flow. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with associates, business partners and customers to resolve issues. Ability to set priorities and meet performance goals. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Capacity to work in team-oriented environment. Organizational/Time Management skills. Computer literacy skills. Analytical skills. Demonstrate thoroughness and accuracy. Ability to adapt to change. Critical thinking skills. Ability to influence and drive change. Proficiency in various PC applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Desired Skills: Mortgage underwriting authority. Previous supervisory experience of a mortgage loan processing team. Understanding of various income sources. Experience in building relationships and partnership across the company.
