Team Overview

Data Management & Governance, within the Global Financial Operations organization, provides governance and oversight for finance data to support Bank of America's efforts in managing risk and producing complete and accurate financial and regulatory reporting. Specifically, the Core Finance Data Management is responsible for helping to drive world class quality in Core Finance group data by developing processes and controls for the governance of data; defining and implementing processes to support data quality measurement, reporting, and remediation; and facilitating and supporting the Finance Data Council and Data Owners.

The teammate in this role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the processes and tools required to ensure Core Finance's compliance to the Enterprise Data Management and Governance Policy and Standards. The teammate will assume the role as a Data Support Sr Analyst and is responsible for developing business partner relationships with Finance lines of business aligned to data management priorities. Partnerships will also include but not limited to technology, operational risk, compliance, and corporate audit. The Core Finance DM&G team also liaises with the Enterprise Data Management organization and other LOB/GCF Data Governance organizations. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should develop or improve on leadership competencies including the ability to partner strategically and effectively with the business and understanding of the regulatory environment impacting data management requirements.

Required skills:

·  Must have Bachelor’s Degree
·  Have prior Audit, Compliance or Risk experiences and understanding controls and data management standards
·  Strong communication skills
·  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
·  Strong relationship management skills
·  Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint). Comfortable working with V-lookups and pivot tables
