Job description

Several entities of the AXA Group (France, Belgium, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Japan, Hong Kong) are producing their accounting figures via a common accounting platform based on SAP technology and managed centrally. Convergence of IT developments on this platform is key and ensured by a central team, part of the Finance department of the Group, with the following main responsibilities :
· Validate any change of master data (accounts, posting dimensions, organizational structure of the enitity) used by the accounting system
· Approve any change or development of the platform
· Monitor some common accounting processes ran by a Financial shared service center (FSSC) in India
· Monitor some scheduled activities linked to the transfer of data from the accounting system to the consolidation system
· Promote in the accounting community the use of the different functionalities provided by the central tool
· Being a “process” and “solution” point of contact for the different entities
· Facilitating the relations between business entities and IT team when managing project or BAU activities on the accounting platform
· Monitor the Reporting solution on a business stand point

The central team of 6 people is looking for an alternant candidate in order to
· Support the team in the management of master data (updates of document, organization of follow up meetings with India FSSC
· Assist the team in adhoc projects coming from requests of the countries (creation of a new entity, enhancement of functionalities, …)
· Assist the team in the IFRS17 project with a support to implementation of new master data tables and help to perform tests.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

The candidate should have a background in accounting as he/she should be able to understand the requests coming from the different stakeholders of the accounting community but also a strong appetite for the IT domain as we interact daily with the AXA Group Operation team managing the common IT tools in AXA.

He/she should be able to work on project mode and have the capacity to adapt him/herself to changes as a part of our activity is linked to adhoc requests.

The language used in the AXA group is English for any communication across the world and with the IT team mainly located in Portugal.
