Network Architect (F/H)

Job description

As part of the Chapter Network France & Morocco, (Services and Operations Department), the Engineering team (7 network engineers) works in close collaboration with the Product teams to design network architectures.
Network architect provides analysis and design tasks required for the development of the enterprise's network architecture. He creates deliverables that help develop guidance (reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts and configurations) for evolving the technical infrastructure across the enterprise.
In relation with our Business units Information Systems department, the network architect supports new projects, qualifies impacts on network perimeter, and defines technical solutions estimating the cost and the time of implementation. The architect formalizes his studies in documents called High-Level Design and Low-Level Design. Based on these deliverables, operational teams integrate the solutions on Production. The architect provides support throughout the integration project.
The scope of responsibility (France & Morocco) covers more than 15 Business Entities with 250 administrative sites, more than 3,500 branches and two main Data Centers.

By joining us, as a network architect, you participate in the following missions:

· Designs, plans and implements data and communications networks using the latest technology to prepare for business growth
· Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models for the AXA Network
· Drive digital innovation by leveraging innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core IT technology
· Lead and guide other network architects and engineers from various organizations and disciplines to determine the best comprehensive design, while supporting current and long-term needs of the infrastructure, business partners and related stakeholders
· Develop and design highly available, integrated, secure, flexible, and fault-tolerant networking systems
· Collect and study the needs of business partners
· Define and communicate standards and architecture rules to ensure the reliability, scalability, performance and security of information systems
· Optimize technical solutions in relation to costs, deadlines, quality and risks
· Guarantee project commitments, including those offered to subcontractors and partners
· Ensure the reporting of activities to the Project Managers, the Management and the Head of the Department;
· Assess existing architectures for platform modernization (architecture modifications, security, etc.) as well as cost optimization

Qualifications :

PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

H / F Graduated Bac +5 Engineering School
8+ years of experience in a similar environment (experience in network architecture and management required)

Technical skills

·  Expertise on network operation and architecture
·  Perfect control of active elements: routers (CISCO, JUNIPER), switches (CISCO, HP, JUNIPER), firewalls (Checkpoint, CISCO ASA), prioritization probes (IPANEMA, RIVERBED), control and AP wifi (CISCO); L4 / 7 (F5); WAF (F5); WEB Proxy (CISCO IRONPORT and McAfee)
·  Network Concept (Data Center, IP Backbone, LAN, WAN, SDWAN, SD-Access, DNA Center, switch fabric, NSF, NSX, ACI, NAC)
·  Protocol: TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, IMPA, SSH, DNS, DHCP, STP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, QOS mechanism, MPBGP, IPSEC, RSA, LDAP, VRRP, HSRP
·  System: LINUX, UNIX, Windows

Language
Advanced level in English and fluent in French
