Summary of the General Mission:

The objective of the IFC programme on Solvency II is to assess the effectiveness of the internal control framework over Solvency II.
Under the management of the Group IFC Manager for the Solvency II programme, the role is to contribute to all activities of the programme (review of the controls, support of the entities, certification activities…)

Key Characteristics of the Job:

The role is to contribute within the team, to the IFC Solvency II activities:

Take part to the testing of the processes and controls in scope for the Group support functions (GRM, PBRC Actuarial), and monitor the program, as liaison manager or programme expert, in some of the 19 entities in scope (which correspond to the scope defined for the AXA's Internal Model).

The main challenge lies in the adaptability to face the different level of maturity among the entities

Main Activities:

· Actively participate to the monitoring of the IFC framework on Solvency II Pillar I topics (AFR and STEC processes), Pillar II topics (Governance around Internal Model), and Pillar III (Solvency II Reporting), at Group and local levels:
· Take part in the review and improvement of the existing control framework (Risk and Control Libraries), supporting the teams in charge of the different risk modules (Risk Management teams for the STEC, PBRC Actuarial team for the AFR, PBRC Consolidation team for Pillar III)
· Develop the control framework with new topics (IFRS17 for instance)
· Participate to the independent testing of processes and controls in scope annually and before the numbers are released
· Contribute to the certification reports and documents
· Support the entities in the implementation of the programme (training, guidance, monitoring of their program and the remediation of their deficiencies)
· Support the manager of the team in terms of training, knowledge sharing and communication on IFC/Solvency II topics
· Participate to the set-up of the Reporting tools (ICON / SCALA) for the IFC/Solvency II framework at both Group and entity levels

Qualifications :

Technical and professional skills:

·  Good understanding of the insurance business (organization, risks, processes and financial reporting)
·  Good understanding on Solvency II aspects
·  Good understanding of internal control concepts
·  Proven experience in international and transversal project management
·  Effective communication and writing in English and French (including conference meetings, presentation, reports, guidance, standards).

·  The person must be able to work in an international environment and with a great number of interlocutors
·  He/She must be well organized, flexible and curious
·  He/She must be result-oriented, able to anticipate and timely solve problems
·  Team spirit is a must, as well as positive mind-set
