System Analyst – Salary from £28,000 to £32,000.

We are recruiting for an onboarding system analyst to join our Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) team in Norwich. You will join a supportive and growing team at an exciting time, as we shape our proposition and re-design how we work to achieve our goals.

A bit about the job:

The postholder will join the onboarding team. This team is responsible for the installation of a scheme from scheme win, to when it is ready to move in to the BAU administration team. You will be responsible for:

· 
The successful onboarding of schemes on to the BPA systems whilst supporting a seamless transition to BAU.

· 
Be accountable for meeting the onboarding of schemes within set timescales understanding challenges as they come about.

· 
Be able to understand and translate pension scheme bases into the system, along with accurately handling large data sets.

· 
First point resolution and escalation point for scheme builds, issues and queries.

· 
Challenge processes and help to create solutions.

· 
Provide coaching/mentoring to peer group to allow team to flex skills to meet demand.

· 
Be available to attend Trustee meetings as support to the Implementation Managers

Aviva uses “smart-working”, and the person in this role can be based anywhere commutable to an Aviva office.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
The ability to accurately handle large data sets

· 
Good technical working knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes and/or Bulk Purchase Annuities gained from working within the insurance or financial services sector

· 
Data analysis skills with a high attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· 
Effective verbal & written communication skills

· 
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team

Salary from £28,000 to £32,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
