Are you passionate about providing marketing strategy and execution advice to our key brokers? This will drive broker sentiment and business results for Aviva and our brokers. The Marketing Consultancy Lead will work with key brokers throughout Canada by providing advice for both personal and commercial (business) insurance products.
Success will be driven by the ability to build relationships with our key brokers and provide expert strategic marketing guidance to suit the broker's business needs. This role is a benefit service we provide to our broker partners to assist them in driving their business results through marketing.
The focus is to provide marketing advice and mentorship to our brokers on what to do and how best to do it. In most cases, the in-market execution will be the brokers' responsibility. But this role occasionally may assist in some aspects of the execution.

What you'll do
Generalist Marketing Expertise:
Each broker will require different marketing advice and support depending on their needs. As such, this role needs to provide a variety of mentorship (from well-rounded brand and marketing strategies to specific tactical execution guidance).
The successful candidate will work independently (individual contributor). However, they will be supported by / partner with senior team members from Marketing and Broker Distribution, as well as senior leadership, to bring the best experience to our brokers.
Consulting services could include:

Brand strategy and awareness
·
Short-term and long-term marketing strategy development
·
B2B and B2C marketing tactics
·
Marketing messaging and creative direction
·
Lead generation
·
Offline tactics such as brochures, events, contests and print advertising
·
Digital marketing strategy and execution
What you'll bring
·
Minimum 7-10 years of B2B and B2C marketing experience, including strategy and execution. Preferably within the insurance industry. Financial services or other broker-focused industries will also be considered.

A high degree of comfort in an individual consulting function/role. Expertise in relationship building and client partnership.
·
Experience in various marketing channels including, but not limited to, print, events, display, social, websites/landing pages, and email.
·
Experience collaborating with multiple partners to gain alignment on initiatives and campaigns.
·
Experience handling outside agencies and vendors to implement marketing.
