Lead AEM Developer – Salary up to £70,000.
This is a superb opportunity to play a significant role in leading in the development of Aviva's global websites on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience working as a Lead/Senior Developer as part to join one of our AEM Platform scrum teams.
A bit about the job:
Our AEM Platform Team has Scrum teams across the UK and India, delivering web content changes across the whole Aviva estate.
As a member of the Nexus Scrum-of-Scrums, our Lead Developers, BAs, Scrum Masters and Product owners co-operate to determine how the platform works.
Within your Scrum team, you will be the primary technical contact point for interactions with the business and as a point of escalation for your Developers. As personal and professional development is critically important at Aviva, you will also be a mentor to your Developers by identifying and helping to resolve knowledge gaps.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Delivering end-to-end solutions using the full AEM technology stack (Granite UI, Sling Models, OSGi services, Sling Servlets, HTL markup, components & page templates), including building/improving automated test suites that use BDD methodology
Strong problem-solving skills – to quickly triage incidents and to help colleagues with sophisticated questions during development.
Experience working with Product Owners and BAs to shape solutions and working within the team to refine the stories ready to play.
What you’ll get for this role:
Salary up to £70,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)
Eligibility for annual performance bonus
Family friendly parental and carer’s leave
29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days
Up to 40% discount for Aviva products
Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars
Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme
21 volunteering hours per year
