In this role you’ll work closely across various IT Care teams to ensure an effective delivery of 1st and 2nd line IT support. Working on the Service Bar and as a Desk-side engineer you will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to colleagues based within Norwich and Offsite.

You’ll resolve technical issues and problems where possible or reassign appropriately and will take ownership of Issues and Requests to completion including tickets escalated to 3rd parties.

You’ll provide IT help and support to Norwich based staff, which covers desktop hardware and software used within Aviva. In addition to this you’ll perform general IT duties and tasks.

You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior peers in order to augment skills at 1st and 2nd line support levels.

A team player with excellent customer service skills you’ll have the ability to multi task, working in a busy customer focussed environment. You’ll be able to demonstrate extensive 1st & 2nd line end user support experience at all levels within the organisation.

In addition you’ll have experience in the following:

· Windows 7
· Microsoft Outlook 2010 & 2016
· BES12
· Microsoft Office applications
· Basic understanding of network protocols
· Mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, Blackberrys)
· Mobility / VPN technologies
· Remote desktop support tools
· Audio Visual support (desirable)
· Windows 8 & 10 (desirable)
