Fund Accounting Oversight Officer – Luxembourg

This is a great job for someone has previously dealt with advisers and fund managers and who is organised with a structured approach to working across multiple activities.

A bit about the job:

As a Fund Accounting Oversight Manager, you will manage the financial accounting and reporting across a range of real assets funds and segregated mandates including investments in real estate, infrastructure and debt funds, joint ventures, or direct properties. You will play a key role in ensuring that fund pricing and financial reporting including management accounts and financial statements are produced consistently, on time and to a high standard across all entities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

•            Validation and sign off fund management accounts/NAVs (as first line or second line)

•            Participate actively in asset valuation review (Lux)

•            Preparing or reviewing fund/entity financial statements

•            Reviewing consolidations

•            Preparation of technical accounting papers

•            Audit management                               

•            Fund cash flow management

•            Management of drawdowns and distributions

•            Support investment teams and other stakeholders within the business area

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

•            In depth understanding of current accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP),       accounting for real assets & ucits activities and complex transactions.

•            Production of accurate and timely management and financial reporting

•            Reporting in a deadline orientated environment.

•            experience of dealing with auditors and managing the audit process

•            Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
