Fraud Intelligence Analyst

Salary up to £30,000

Insurance fraud costs the UK industry circa £1.2billion and ultimately it is the honest, genuine people who pay the price in increased premiums. To tackle this, Aviva has a dedicated team of experienced handlers in the Claims Fraud Intelligence Team (CFIT) who focus on disrupting fraudsters and protecting the innocent customers who fall victim to them.    

We are looking for a Claims Fraud Intelligence Analyst who is passionate about fighting fraud to join CFIT and support Aviva’s drive to improve fraud detection and prevention! To be successful, we are looking for someone with a background in insurance, intelligence role or has been in a fraud/crime prevention type role previously.

A bit about the job:

As the Fraud Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for detecting fraud across our Motor, Casualty and Household products, with a focus on organised fraud.  You will proactively analyse data sets to identify trends of fraudulent behaviour and complete desktop intelligence packages prior to referral into our Claims Fraud Investigation Team. You will maintain a strong understanding of current fraud threats whilst also identifying new trends and risks which the business need to prepare for, in order to manage all incoming intelligence from internal and external sources to review, ascertain risk and disseminate to key stakeholders across the business.

Skills and experiencing we are looking for

· 
Experience with fraud/crime intelligence handling (desirable)

· 
Insurance claims experience (desirable)

· 
Passionate about fighting fraud and protecting the customer

· 
Enjoys working with data and has strong computer literacy

· 
The ability to effectively manage personal workload, prioritise effectively and deliver within agreed time limits
