Direct Protection Consultant – Starting salary of £19,700p/a with pay progression salary increases available once training is completed

 

Your contracted working hours will be within 08:00 - 18:00 / Monday – Friday. Ou r standard full time contracts are for 35 hours per week, however we want you to have the flexibility to increase your working hours if it suits you, so we also offer the option for enhanced contracts up to 40 hours per week which has an enhanced salary.

You may work in retail or hospitality but feel that you’re not reaching your full potential. If so, we are looking for customer experts to join our Direct Protection Sales team. The Direct Protection market provides a huge opportunity and is growing as customers become increasingly confident in transacting directly with providers. The Direct business operates across online and offline channels and is an important component of our overall protection business.

A bit about the job:

As a Direct Protection expert, you will be offering telephony support on a non-advice basis to our customers and will be responsible for educating them on our protection products and leading them through our full quote and buy journey. You will work across a range of customer contact channels including inbound, outbound, and live chat as well as managing our existing customer applications. Whilst adhering to all regulatory requirements, the role will also involve an awareness and ownership of customer dissatisfaction and additional customer support needs. You will build relationships and liaise with stakeholders across the business and be able to identify and highlight areas of improvement that can drive the right customer outcomes whilst bringing to life Aviva’s values in everything that you do.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

·  Excellent communication skills, a great phone manner with the ability to build rapport and show empathy alongside strong listening and questioning skills
·  Someone who enjoys working and learning with others around them to deliver fantastic customer service and has a positive, can-do attitude.
·  Someone that enjoys and is keen to learn how to use multiple systems whilst simultaneously supporting customers on the telephone. 
·  Someone who is risk aware, with the ability to overcome issues in order to best support our customers.
