Capacity Planner

Job description

Capacity Planner – Salary of £25,000 to £35,000, for national locations

It’s an exciting time for our Motor Claims Planning team - we are growing and are therefore now looking for a new team member to help deliver effective planning in all areas of our operations. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an analytically minded professional who loves solving problems and gets excited about structuring and then presenting data.

A bit about the job:

You will be accountable for updating and maintaining our capacity plan, supporting Aviva’s Motor Claims resource strategy by bringing numbers to life, so we can make key decisions on the size and structure of our operation. This will include producing actionable insights for our stakeholders to use, such as daily reports and presentational packs, by structuring and analysing data aligned to supply and demand information, so we know how many people we need and where we can make improvements. You will also need to flag any claims trends or challenges, as well as predict future demand and supply, using a combination of predictive modelling skills and business insight.

Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from either our Glasgow or Norwich offices.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

·
Someone with extensive experience undertaking an analytically focused role, with the ability to structure data seamlessly thanks to strong Excel skills

·
Great problem solving & resource planning skills

·
The ability to analyse information and present it clearly to a range of stakeholders

·
Confident communicator, building and maintaining relationships with influencers of demand

·
Collaborative working style – a real ‘team player’

What you’ll get for this role:

·
Annual salary of £25,000 to £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).

·
Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8%, when you contribute 2%).

·
Eligibility for annual performance bonus.

·
Family friendly parental and carer’s leave.

·
29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days.

·
Up to 40% discount for Aviva products.

·
Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars.

·
Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme.

·
21 volunteering hours per year.
