This role is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Talent Acquisition Team and the HR Systems team to meet the needs of the business.
What you’ll do:
New Hire Activity, the full cycle Talent Acquisition administration process

Responsible for collecting all new hire paperwork in order to help support a successful first day experience
·
Responsible for ordering background checks and providing status updates to the talent acquisition partners when applicable
·
Assist Payroll by gathering and providing new hire tax and direct deposit information and sending to the payroll provider
·
Communicate with internal stakeholders and new hires to provide starting details and additional information as required
·
Process candidate related payments including signing bonuses, allowances and referral bonuses
·
Responsible for creating employee record in Workday and uploading new hire documents
·
Quarterly survey for the government
·
Maintain the Recruitment email inbox and responding or redirecting inquiries as appropriate
·
Assist with the summer intern program
HR System Administration and Other Projects
·
New Hire Survey and Hiring Manager Surveys – manage quarterly deployment and analysis of surveys
·
Review and approve Workday business process transactions including hires
·
Assist with the coop Audit to ensure individuals who are being extended remain active and those who are leaving are terminated in the system
·
Respond to and processing Fitness Subsidy requests for payment
·
Calculate and process Parental Leave top up calculations
·
Process requests for ad hoc deductions or additions to employee pay
·
Understand the potential downstream impacts of transactions on all areas of HR
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
·
Timely and accurate completion New Hire records in Workday.
·
Talent Acquisition Partner and Hiring Manager satisfaction with performance.
·
Quality and timely reports, letters, memos and presentations.
·
Accurate and timely processing of Work Day records, offer letters, new hire packets.
·
Quality and effectiveness of assisting job candidates with questions, interview schedules and travel arrangements.
What you’ll bring :

Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·
Bilingualism (French)
·
Strong communication skills
·
Attention to detail; accuracy
·
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively to achieve results
·
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize a high volume of tasks
·
Ability to work in a face paced environment
·
Aptitude/Proficiency in working with database systems
·
Previous experience with supporting Talent Acquisition function preferred
·
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
