Job description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
· Partner with internal key stakeholders in Distribution channels to proactively identify training needs aligned to the business plan.
· Develop creative ideas to enhance the training experience to make it fun and interactive
· Follow through the company and team’s strategy and work towards the priorities
· To be resourceful with Market Intelligence and transform this information into meaningful data that will value add to the internal key stakeholders in distribution channel.
OPERATIONAL
· Execution of the training plan for respective channels and ensure it stays nimble to cater to evolving market changes
· Develop new training subject matters to nurture sales maturity of sellers
· Derive market intelligence and insights by engaging external stakeholders
· Proactively seek for new digital tools that can aid to enhance the training experience brought to sellers.
EFFECTIVE RISK MANAGEMENT/GOVERNANCE
· Ensure that the delivery of training and the materials used are in line with Regulatory and Compliance Standards
OUTCOMES
· To be the lead (end –to end) for assigned product launch for all distributed channels.
· To provide product training and sales tools for our business partners to achieve desired sales results for Aviva’s suite of products
· Provide value add to advisors through soft skills training to enhance their interpersonal skill sets to achieve improved closure rates.
· To ensure all regulatory requirements is built into training’s book of works
SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS
· To ensure compliance and regulations are built into training’s book of works
· Responsible for controls relating to the People and Sales Standards, as outlined under IAI.
RELATIONSHIPS (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL)
· Work closely with Product & Marketing Teams
· Liaise with Affinity Management Team & Intermediary Distribution’s BDMs
· Work with FA Partners’ training admin staff
· Conduct Focus Groups for sales reps
QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree-holder
· CMFAS M9, 9A, M5, CHI
· Completed Train-the-Trainer program
· CMFAS M8, 8A, CGI, BCP (added advantage)
· AFP/CFP/AFC/ChFC (added advantage)
· ACTA (added advantage)
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
· Prior experience in eLearning software e.g. SCORM and etc will be added advantage
· Prior experience in handling Learning Management Systems
· Prior experience in managing digital learning tools will be added advantage
· Good understanding of the Financial Adviser’s Act, MAS Notices/Guidelines, Anti-Money Laundering, Fair Dealings Act
· Ability to communicate and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· A team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Meticulous and results-oriented, with the ability to strive in a fast-paced work environment
· Innovative and has business acumen
