THIS IS A W2 CONTRACT POSITION

Major Responsibilities and day to day activities and/or objective for the role:

·  SQL Server Database Administration
·  Troubleshooting and resolving blocking and deadlocking issues related to SQL server
·  Maintenance of database with the activities of shrink database, Indexing and Re-ind

Qualifications

Required Skills :

·  Microsoft SQL Server DBA
·  Extensive Experience in installation, configuration applying patches and administration of MS SQL Server (2008 / 2012)
·  Experience in configuration of Always on for High availability
·  Experience in performing regular Backups (Full / Differential / Transaction Log Backups into Disk) and scheduling tasks
·  Experience maintenance of database with the activities of shrink database, Indexing and Re-ind
·  Knowledge of SharePoint will be an added advantage
