Role Overview

The Information Security Project Manager assists with the implementation and operations of Avanade's Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the delivery of its commitments. This job leverages experience in Information Security, Project Management, and Client Data Protection, and it ensures that problems are being addressed in line with Avanade standards. Day-to-day, you will:

Risk Management

·  Scheduling and leading risk assessment and risk treatment meetings with stakeholders
·  Educating stakeholders about the information risk management process
·  Documenting, analyzing and compiling risk assessment results
·  Driving and tracking risk treatment solutions

Project Management

·  Planning and managing projects related to gap analysis, risk management, vendor management, and security audits
·  Scheduling and leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders
·  Recognizing process improvement opportunities and implementing solutions

ISO 27001 Compliance

·  Conducting gap analyses of information security controls and documenting the results
·  Driving the remediation of compliance gaps with internal stakeholders
·  Analyzing Vendor Information Security qualifications
·  Reviewing Standards and Policies to verify compliance with ISO 27001

Information Security Audit

·  Planning internal and external audits of the Information Security Management System
·  Coordinating with internal and external auditors
·  Monitoring the progress and completion of audits

Information Security Management System

·  Assisting with the planning, deployment, and administration of a holistic Information Security Management System
·  Serving as a valued contributor with ISO 27001 practices
·  Other misc. responsibilities as assigned

Information Security Knowledge & Skills that you may have:

·  Ideal candidate is a versatile team player who will learn quickly and grow with the role
·  Experience with Information Security, Client Data Protection, and ISO 27001
·  Prior experience working within an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
·  2 years of experience participating in information security risk assessment and risk treatment initiatives

You likely have an Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Information Security or business-related field, 3+ years in US military accepted in lieu of education requirement.
