Avanade Asset Protection and Business Continuity Management Lead

About the role:

The Avanade Asset Protection and Business Continuity Management Lead manages response efforts to IT and physical security incidents while ensuring continuity of operations. This role has global responsibility for the management and improvement of asset protection and business continuity functions while actively managing ongoing incident / crisis response activities.

Day to day, you will:

·  Serve as Crisis Manager and lead crisis response activities for any emergency or disaster that impacts Avanade, or its subsidiaries.
·  Actively manage the extended AAP Program which own IT, personnel, and Physical security response activities
·  Manage Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program to ensure continuity of operations (resiliency) at all levels within the organization through the development of continuity, contingency, and response plans
·  Update and maintain continuity processes for the business, business impact analysis, and risk assessments of essential business functions to ensure resilient operations.
·  Develop and lead initiatives to increase business continuity and crisis management awareness at all levels of the organizations, including the Crisis Management Team
·  Management and ongoing support of the Crisis Management Team; includes, but is not limited to leading annual training and management of support tools (websites, mobile apps, etc.)
·  Manage and Support Client Projects with Business Continuity Requirements by assisting Sales and Delivery teams, and continuously improving the Project Business Continuity Planning methodology
·  Manage and develop Contingency Plans for Events or Emergencies as they impact or possibly impact Avanade; work with Incident Research and Analysis as events develop
·  Analyze gathered data for all requests and incidents
·  Provide internal reports: weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually to local teams and management.
·  Review existing incident management processes and reengineer and/ or optimizing them
·  Maintain all employee informational and team sites supporting AAP and BCM.
·  Serve as the lead of 24x7 Watch Officer program; requires “on call” availability over the weekend.

Qualifications

About you:

You are a driven individual with experience in high-security facilities. You understand and can apply policies and procedures, including suggesting or drafting procedural improvements for implementation. You can review physical asset controls, including cameras, door types, locks, lockers physical signage and other assets needed for a facility that holds sensitive information.

·  Fundamental understanding of Cybersecurity controls and capabilities; ability to develop remediation plans in a concise manner and follow them to conclusion.
·  Capability to think outside-the-box to resolve issues.
·  Availability to work outside normal business hours is required.

You likely have a Bachelor's Degree or three to five years of equivalent experience or at least 3 years of military experience in operations management. Within six months of employment, you should acquire, at Avanade's expense, an appropriate certification from an industry-accepted governing body covering risk management or physical security. Minimum of two years in similar role or two years of experience within Avanade in a global role

Scope of Work:

The job is focused primarily on managing a team and participating on day to day activities that supports day-to-day crisis and incident management while developing program strategy and overseeing timeliness, accuracy, and quality of collective work products.
