August International is a UK based international company that leads the research, development and supply of consumer electronic products with the latest technology and advanced features. The company is specialized in development of wireless and smart audio and video signal receivers, decoders, streaming and display devices and wearable electronic products.

Based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire with offices in UK, Germany, and China, we are currently recruiting a Graphic Designer Intern to join the team in our Hoddesdon Hertfordshire office.

Key Duties:
• Design and maintain banners and images on company websites
• Design online and print banners, adverts and brochures
• Illustrations, web icons, buttons and logos
• Design promotional emails and newsletters
• Generate and research creative solutions
• Other ad hoc website and designer work

Desired profile

Required Skills and Experience:
• Relevant extensive graphic design experience
• Strong track record and portfolio of web and graphic design
• Illustration, video or photography experience would be desirable
• Strong Photoshop, Adobe CC, InDesign skills
• Ability to design graphics for online
• Familiar with Microsoft office packages
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills
• A proactive and can-do attitude
• Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly
• Candidates with fluency in multiple European languages will be prioritised
