SAP Solution Expert MRT  (m/f/d)

 

An SAP Solution Expert in Manufacturing and Retail is the business development expert for SAP solutions in business areas like Retail, Machinery, Pharma etc. A good understanding of business requirements in the industry leads to solution design which is tailor-made to support the client’s digital journey. Experience in process analysis, business requirements gathering, impact analysis and solution implementations. Proven ability to work well with internal and external business partners is a must. Should know new SAP solution and product trends, understand transformation approaches from old to current SAP Solutions, understand business benefits due to digital transformation projects. Requires strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with key business and IT stakeholders as well as demonstrate leadership by aligning with client business goals.

 

Your responsibilities

·  Understand the Atos SAP portfolio and identify relevant offerings for the Swiss MRT market
·  Together with sales, identify clients and business opportunities for the Atos SAP portfolio in the Swiss market
·  Work with customer architecture team and business users to gather and document business requirements
·  Design and document solutions that fulfil business requirements effectively and efficiently based on extensive industry background and understanding.
·  Share business values of new SAP solutions to a customer and can prove design and prove new system architecture to achieve business goals
·  Assist business leaders and senior IT management in leading the organization in the identification, evaluation, and selection of SAP solutions using industry best practices. Identify, analyze, and communicate SAP and non-SAP options, making recommendations to management. Effectively communicate to the appropriate audience and build consensus around the recommended solutions
·  Proactively gather feedback from the key business users, understand the business and system gaps. Make recommendations and lead implementations for enhancements
·  Proactively identify business and system improvements, make recommendations, take ownership and bring those initiatives to successful implementation
·  Create prescriptive examples of new technical approaches (both proof-of-concept and also potentially production ready componentry) to illustrate technology directions or best practices. Provide guidance on the evolution of systems and architectures and the adoption of such technologies that meet specified cost/ benefit criteria.
·  Collaborate with SAP as vendor to identify opportunities to innovate across the solution. Understand the future SAP roadmap, as well as the current and future needs of the business, and align technology roadmap to deliver upon those needs

 

Your profile

·  10+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or retail industries
·  10+ years of experience with SAP
·  Good overview of the competitive and partner landscape in the SAP market in manufacturing and/or retail industries
·  Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA
·  Participation in SAP S4 migration projects (nice to have)
·  Experience in design, development, implementation, testing of IT systems based on SAP solutions
·  Participation in more than 5 SAP projects in the industry
·  Strong knowledge of some of core SAP ERP functionality (Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance)
·  Understanding of all functional areasmodules of SAP ERP
·  Understanding of integration points within SAP ERP
·  Solid knowledge in SAP integration tools
·  Strong knowledge in S4 HANA and understanding differences S4 from SAP ECC
·  Understanding of main options for SAP ERP integration with other solutions (IDOC, BAPI, OData etc)
·  Understanding of SAP Cloud solutions like (Ariba, Success Factors, SCP etc) and integration of Cloud solutions with other SAP products (inc. ECCS4HANA)
·  Knowledge of SAP Planning and optimization solutions (IBP, APO, BPC) and their role in general SAP architecture
·  Understanding of General SAP solution map
·  Knowledge of SAP roadmap
·  Solid knowledge of SAP project methodologies (ASAP, SAP Activate) and differences between them
·  Strong knowledge of SAP S4 HANA migrationimplementation approaches
·  Excellent skills for requirements gathering, solution design, hands-on build, implementation and troubleshooting
·  Ability to work as an individual or in a team environment to develop solutions
·  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
·  Strong communication skills which include: ability to convey complex technical concepts to company stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners
·  Leadership skills: proactively identify opportunities, make recommendations, own initiatives and mentor others
·  Ability to build consensus without authority
·  Keen analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Flexibility to adapt to new processes and technologies quickly
·  Sound time management skills with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects/tasks concurrently
·  Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·  Projectopportunity based; up to 50% of domestic or international
·  Language – Fluent English, Fluent German and/or French
