Atos is currently hiring a Project Manager (PM) based in St. Louis, MO. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the management of projects at the implementation phase and working as the vendor supporting external customers. This person will determine if the new requests fits the master service agreement (MSA) or is outside the standard of work (SOW). If it is outside the SOW, this person will be submitting new requests in the ServiceNow system and following up on those requests as part of managing the workflow. The Project Manager will be interacting with the client directly on reporting on the status of the demands in process, status of the budget etc. This person will be planning, directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses are on schedule and within the allotted budget from project hand-off through closure.

Responsibilities :

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and scheduling based on the requirements, conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management and reporting the statuses of the project, from budget to progress, to the client and executive teams.

· Oversee the SOW creation process
· Actively manages the project budget which includes conducting risk analysis, resources are within budget, tracking the expenses, reporting the statuses of the budget to the client
· Leads efforts to solve problems encountered during project execution
· Portfolio management including reporting the in-flight projects
· Project Management, Planning and Scheduling:
· Monitors project progress against project plan
· Creates project schedules using the SOW and scope of work to build a project schedule based on the requirements. Consultation with the solutions architects and/or the technical team to build the project schedule
· Managing multiple programs and projects in a cross-functional environment ranging from 1 to 5 projects depending on the complexity
· Manage programs and projects from project hand-off through closure
· Working Knowledgeable of project management principles and is well versed in PMI''s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
· Coordinates and respond to request for scope changes
· Risk Management:
· Identifies, documents, and communicates Risks in a timely manor
· Defines and communicates mitigation plans and Risk response in a timely manor
· Reporting and Communication:
· Maintains project documentation in an appropriate project repository for easy access by stakeholders
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
· Communicates project plans, status, issues and risks accurately and consistently to project stakeholders

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus
· Must be PMI or PMP certified
· Must have 5 to 7 years of Project Management experience; highly desirable to have experience in infrastructure projects
· Must have 3 – 5 years of financial acumen including budgeting, financial reporting, risk assessment etc.
· Must have 3 – 5 years of experience working with customer directly
· Exceptional scope management skills
· Experience with management of demands and portfolio management
· Expertise in relevant software including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Visio
· Solid understanding of relevant technologies: server, storage, network and DR/Application Resiliency best practices, End User technologies, Cloud technology
· Must be within a commutable distance to St. Louis, MO, relocation assistance is not provided

Preferred :

· Previous experience working as a vendor supporting external customers is a plus
· Experience using ServiceNow system is preferred
· System support or Engineering background a plus
· SCRUM Master certification is a plus
