The opportunity

 

This role, to based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, is part of the Atos Business Transformation Services (BTS) and BPS Limited Internal Audit Team providing internal audit services to Atos clients in the Financial Services and Insurance Sector. The successful candidate will be expected to spend time on site each week in Glasgow and Edinburgh but will also have the flexibility to work from home one or two days per week. The role is required following successful continued growth by Atos in the financial services outsourcing market. The role will primarily support existing client but may also occasionally be required to support bid activity from which further opportunities for progression within the team may arise. The BTS / BPS internal audit team consists of 9 people (including this vacancy) located across the Atos sites specified above. Two of the current members of the team are located in Glasgow and one in Edinburgh.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

·  Supporting Audit managers in developing and maintaining the annual audit universe and plans
·  Supporting Audit managers with operational audit planning and resourcing
·  Audit planning, developing Terms of Reference with business stakeholders
·  Delivering audits and reporting to timetable and quality
·  Discuss and agree findings and actions with stakeholders
·  Supporting the liaison with and coordination of the co-source arrangement with KPMG
·  Supporting the preparation of papers for governance meetings
·  Management and coaching of audit staff

Skills we can’t do without:

 

·  Institute of Internal Audit qualification (part qualified or qualified)
·  Experienced Internal Auditor
·  Financial Services experience (Banking, Life and Pensions)
·  Knowledge of 3 Lines of Defence model
·  People Management experience

 

Skills we’d like:

 

·  Financial services regulatory knowledge
·  Experience of IT Audit (ISO27001)
·  Experience of Business Continuity Audit (ISO22301)
·  Project Auditing and Assurance
