(GCE Infrastructure Business Analyst)

Description:

The Global Correlation Engine is a key component of the ATF2 Framework. It is a proprietary technology utilized to help improve the accuracy of the CMDB and to ensure better tooling coverage.

This position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, a proficiency in SQL server and a strong understanding of server and networking infrastructure. Successful candidate must be able to work on multiple, complex assignments and work collaboratively with a variety of teams. Candidate must possess proficient oral and written communication skills. Individuals must be able to utilize mature judgment in prioritizing work effort to meet multiple committed dates.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Duties require an understanding of a variety of Operating Systems including Unix, Linux and Windows. Familiarity with various applications including databases, server and network equipment, is desired.
· Works closely with other teams to work through data discrepancies and determine appropriate business rules
· Must be able to coordinate multiple simultaneous projects.
· Analyze CI data to determine patterns, perform data normalization, and to assist in data clean up and onboarding
· Periodic interfacing with other tooling SMEs (UMF, BladeLogic, Discovery, etc).
· Perform as a CI data Subject Matter Expert
· Strong SQL and analytical skills are a must

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2-4 years of related technical support experience. Requires advanced knowledge and experience in a variety technology platforms and systems.

Helpful Related Experience:

Understanding of ServiceNow, CMDB, and generally technology is helpful. Scripting or development capability would be considered a nice to have skill.
