Today’s healthcare environment is undergoing rapid change and transformation. The market is being impacted by changing regulations, rapid digitalization, consumer centric operating model, new payment structures, increasing reliance on technology, and a move towards population health. As a senior within our healthcare consulting practice, you’ll work with clients across the healthcare industry, from hospitals and integrated delivery networks to ambulatory surgical centers and payviders. You’ll use your industry knowledge and relationship skillsets to assist our clients in transforming their business and helping them through their journey of digital transformation. 


The opportunity 

As part of Atos’ Health & Life Science consulting practice, you will work with our clients across the country in solving complex problems in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment.  Candidates will be at the intersection of leading business and tech enabled transformation journey's and improving performance with our clients.We currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior, with a focus on provider operations, to support client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver consulting services, and support business development activities on strategic and priority accounts.  


Your key responsibilities 

As a Senior in our Health & Life Science consulting group focused on business transformation, clinical operation, and revenue cycle you’ll spend most of your time teaming with our provider client teams working with a broad spectrum of not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare clients, including hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices and academic medical centers, and ambulatory surgical centers to assess and transform businesses across the following areas: 

·  Consumer centric operating model with operational improvement 
·  Digital hospital
·  Virtual care – Hospital at home solutions
·  Cost reduction/revenue enhancement 
·  Workflow redesign
·  …..and much more 


Skills and attributes for success 

·  Establish relationships with client personnel at executive and C levels. Consistently deliver quality client services 
·  Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes 
·  Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business 
·  Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and industry expertise 
·  Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge 
·  Possess good business acumen 
·  Remain current on new developments in consulting services capabilities and industry knowledge 


  To qualify for the role, you must have  

·  A bachelor's degree and approximately 15+ years of related work experience in healthcare industry; or a master's degree and approximately 10+ years of related work experience in healthcare industry 
·  Approximately 3 years of healthcare consulting experience, preferably with prior experience as a Senior (or above), in a consulting firm or in a management role within industry 
·  Experience in delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design, and implementation
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (knows when to lead and when to follow) 
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills 
·  A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 20%



·  Experience with business and clinical operations experience, Value Based Care, Population Health Management, Care Management, or Analytics; Clinical and HP Operations and/or Pharmacy/PBM.
·  Clinical Informatics experience
·  Care Management which includes acute care, and ambulatory experience
·  Professional experience with operational process mapping
·  Professional experience with healthcare cost reduction planning and implementation
·  Professional experience with project management and program analysis
·  Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA)
·  Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Exceptional interpersonal, team building and communication skills
·  Ability to build consensus and foster change in a client business setting with executive level stakeholders
·  Sense of responsibility to self, team, and client
·  Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
·  Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
