The opportunity

Atos is growing the capabilities of its UK Public Sector Centre of Excellence (CoE) to work with our clients on the digital transformation journey. You'll work as part of the CoE team with senior architects and technical roles to understand our client’s requirements and translate them into tangible offerings. The Business Analyst assists the client to envision the service, capture and analyse the information using various techniques to specify the requirements from both the business and user perspective to deliver the desired outcomes. You will also be able to determine the user journey, issues and personas for the service to assist with the design and implementation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

You will facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.

You'll make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to services.

Take a user-centered design approach, elucidating requirements, personas, journeys to enable the building of digital services.

Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.

Support the writing and/or providing input to bid proposals to design application solutions that will make our teams and customers successful.

Able to contribute to delivery timescales implementation and cost estimates together based on proposed application architecture/design and risks.

Responsible for Business Analysis polices and standards for the CoE and support teams in their alignment to them.

Participate in Atos Business Analysis communities engaging local and global colleagues to ensure best practice for database architecture is adopted widely.

Communicating efficiently and work together within a multi-disciplinary team, fostering the open and collaborative culture.

This position is based in Winnersh , but you'll be expected to travel to customer and Atos sites UK wide; working from client/office/home locations as appropriate. Flexible working arrangements will be available.

Skills we can’t do without:

·  Evidence of experience in Business Analysis - capture needs and analysing information using comprehensive tools and techniques to deliver digital services.
·  Demonstrable evidence of working with clients to assist them in defining strategic services and solutions
·  Proven ability working to Government Digital Service Standards and documenting the necessary evidence to pass a GDS assessment.
·  Evidence of ability to map business processes and data flows and improve upon them.
·  Evidence of strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate and build relationships effectively with a broad variety of people, both verbal and in writing.
·  Experience in producing documentation such as, presentations, briefings, feature specifications, and processes
·  Demonstrable experience of using agile techniques.
·  Able to undertake and successfully gain SC level security clearance checks.
