Job Description

· Maintenance and development of detailed VMware designs within the Cloud environments.
· Contribute expert VMware knowledge in multi disciplinary Cloud development teams for E2E optimization of the Cloud infrastructure
· Drive, check and accompany major changes on VMware environments that are part of the Cloud.
· Support deployment teams in Cloud customers implementations and transitions projects
· Drive technology standardization in new and existing environments
· Continuously assess the Cloud landscape, start improvement proposals (for all landscape components on both effectiveness and efficiency) and manage initiatives to completion
· Execute Life Cycle Management for VMware Cloud infrastructure components. (Design, test, implement)
· Assess compliance to service standards and start actions to mitigate risks in case of deviations

Job Requirements

· Typically educated on university level (e.g. Bachelor or Master). Otherwise, may hold a relevant professional qualification.
· Preferably holds professional qualifications and certifications: VMware and EMC.
· Business fluent in the English language.
· Prior experience working at an international level is preferred
· Has a proven track record and demonstrates understanding of enterprise architecture related to virtual and cloud infrastructure environments.
· Expert in enterprise virtualization/server environments. VMware solutions (including VCAC, VCO, VCOPS, SRM and other VMWare modules)
· Is familiar with enterprise environments with the following building blocks; VCE Vblocks, EMC vMax, EMC VNX, EMC Datadomain, EMC Avamar, EMC Networker and other Storage/Backup solutions. Network (Cisco)
