What impact you can make
As a Application Engineer you will be a part of our interdisciplinary skilled Technical Support Team.
You will be working within the automotive industry in the financial sector.
You will be engaged in application maintenance and change requests support based on ITIL.
Role and Responsibilities
The main aim of your team is to execute supporting activities and routines related to applications and software base, software deployment, backup management and monitoring.
Multi-level Incident and problem management for both software base and infrastructure services.
· To participate in mandatory technical trainings preparing for the role (first couple of months after start)
· To monitor services and availability of systems (e.g. SAP, AUTOMIC)
· To conduct Data Analysis and prepare regular reporting
· To support Incident management activities
· To fulfill Service Requests
· Daily Operations and Application support
· To support Availability management and help ensure continuity of services
Required Skills and Experience
· German B2 (reading technical documentation), English B2
· Basic professional experience with SAP software
· Professional experience in Banking area
· Basic Windows/Linux skills
· Understanding of relational databases and integrated applications
· Basic Java/.NET concepts
· Good understanding of ITIL Processes
· Reliability and precision at work
· Good communication skills
· Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
