Job Description

As an Application Cloudification Developer you will be responsible for the re-hosting, refactoring, revising, rebuilding or replacing existing (legacy) applications into PaaS and Private/Public cloud solutions. Ability to collaborate with Application Owners, System Administrators, Infrastructure Engineers, Security Experts, Network Engineers, Application Developers, Middleware Developers, Database Administrators, Quality Assurance, Production Control, and other IT teams to develop business and technical requirements and ensure they are met in the design, implementation and execution of the PaaS/Cloud environment.

Responsibilities include developing complex plans and solutions as part of an overall solution framework. This role will translate client needs into specific technical requirements and implementation plans.

The Application Cloudification Developer will work as part of an agile team to engage customers to identify, plan, remediate and migrate their entire application portfolio to leading Platform as a Service (Paas) platforms and Cloud environments.

- Ability to analyzing business situations and working within a group environment to provide efficient and effective software solutions

- Experience in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production

- Participation in an Agile software development environment and can excel in a continuous deployment environment

- Provide technical support during all phases of project delivery. This includes, but is not limited to: development of project estimates, solution design review, documentation creation and review, and peer code reviews

- Experience with the provisioning, administration and API integration of public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) services including compute, containers, application development and runtime environments

- Experience implementing and customizing a web architected, n-tiered enterprise application, strong experience with SaaS applications.

- Familiarity with Monolithic and Microservice development approaches

- Familiarity with stateful and stateless application architecture approaches.
