Internal Job Description

We are looking for someone to provide applications support for the Settlements service as part of a team (currently planned for six months).

The specific skills required are:

· Java
· Apex
· Salesforce

The team will be the main technical team responsible for the support of the Settlements solution. It will be responsible for all application code and procedures as well liaising with other support teams and the service team in order to manage incidents, problems and changes. Delivery to the defined service levels is key.

Team working and knowledge transfer within the team will be essential to ensuring we have a robust sustainable team providing cover and avoiding SPOFs.

As part of the application support team, to manage incidents, problems and changes. To liaise with the customer, service team and other support teams as appropriate.

He/she will be required to transfer knowledge of Java and Apex to the rest of the application support team members.

The successful candidate is required to be fully competent in Apex, Java and Salesforce from day 1 as they need to be fully productive and indeed undertake k.x. and skills transfer to other members of the application support team.
