As a 2nd Line Support Engineer you are responsible to monitor a worldwide IoT platform in the industrial environment.

The tasks are :

- Monitoring of the IoT platform with advanced monitoring tools

- Analysis of reported alerts, errors and incidents

- Classification of the incidents

- Solving of incidents in nonstandard environments

- Work on solution proposals how to fix the reported errors

- Consulting of the user regarding the platform functionality and services

- Support of the development and interface between the development and the user

- Cooperation with international service desk teams

- Cooperation with the operations and development team

Requirements:

- Willingness and pleasure to help to solve technical issues

- Good analysis and technical communication skills

- Very good Linux OS knowledge

- Experience with network management & troubleshooting: Familiar with dynamic routing, HTTP, TCP/IP protocol stacks, IP Addressing, subnetting

- German and English writing and oral proficiency

- Team Player

- Several years of professional experience in the IT environment

Languages:

German (must), English
