Description of Department

All business activities involve risk. These risks are managed by identifying it, analyzing it and then evaluating whether and how the risk can be mitigated in order to satisfy their risk objectives. Throughout this process, the risks are monitored and reviewed and the controls that are modifying the risk ensuring that no further risk mitigation is required. Group Risk Management is providing the business assurance across all business areas:

* Overall management and coordination of risk management in all business units
* Business Assurance across all disciplines and along the full lifecycle
Independent, strategic oversight and mandate to escalate to top management

Mission of candidate


* Participation in workgroups developing improvements and changes to the risk management methodologies,
* Monitoring of the risk management process compliance, efficiency and effectiveness through appropriate KPI systems.
* Monitoring of the performance of major and critical contracts and escalation of critical contracts to local and global management. Regular risk reporting to top management.
* Facilitation of monthly Contract Performance Calls including the set-up of the agenda together with GBU and Division.
* Facilitation of Global Contract Reviews Calls including the Group Risk Management Committee, including documentation of decisions and follow up on agreed actions.
* Follow up and monitoring on the execution and impact of actions decided in Global Contract Reviews, escalation to management in case of deviations

Profile of candidate

* You are currently enrolled in a higher education institution
* Good command of English language
* Basic understanding of commercial/financial topics
* Ability to work with own initiative}
