Job description

ESSEC BUSINESS SCHOOL is looking for a “Business Developer” for the launching of its new London Office, for a 24 month internship Contract “VIE: International Internship Program”.
The main objective of the ESSEC office in London is to reinforce ESSEC’s visibility and influence in London and meet the placement needs of students and Alumni wishing to work in London.
After a study market, the Business developer will co-construct an evolutive action plan for 2/3 years in order to define and propose a set of coherent target actions such as : event organization, communication, co-branding or sponsorship…
Main missions:
DEVELOPMENT OF CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS:
- Identify and meet all actors of the London financial sector and be familiar with the start-up environment to reference ESSEC among the best universities/Business Schools for suitable profile recruitment.
- Develop new relationships and partnerships with companies and institutions: commercialisation of Career Fairs, organize events (networking, company visits, field projects, study trips preparation), lead generation for ESSEC Executive Education…
COMMUNICATION ESSEC & ESSEC ALUMNI:
- Interact with ESSEC ALUMNI community in UK, and make sure that efficient communication about ESSEC circulates among the right channels. Contribute to cultivate the network with new networking actions…
- Become a point of contact in London for Career Services team of our 5 campuses (France
- Paris & Cergy, Singapore, Morocco, Mauritius)
ORGANIZATION & LOGISTICS:
- Organize meetings and business trips for International Affairs team and for the Representative Professor in London according to agenda, budget and action plan mentioned above.
- Develop and organize actions to help the ESSEC Recruitment & Marketing team to recruit students, MBA and Executive participants according to agenda, budget and action plan : Master classes, Conferences, university presentations
Reporting:
The Business Developer will report directly to International Affairs and the Representative Professor of ESSEC Office in London, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
The job is located in Central London – Piccadilly Circus
Profile: Young graduate in Management with a French or British University degree, British or EU national, under 28 year’s old, bilingual or English native speaker, good level in French. Familiar with London: a plus!
A first experience in Business Development, HR/Executive Search, Finance or project management.
Show a real Interest for Finance issues and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Knowledge of Salesforce and social and professional networks, community management…
Entrepreneurial spirit, client and service oriented, good interpersonal communication skills, ethics, initiative, team spirit, flexibility.
