Introduction


The Software and Systems Group is responsible for the development of ARM-based systems, to ensure faster time to market for our partners.

The system design team within the Systems and Software group in ARM develops the very latest ARM based systems. We are currently engaged in the next generation of technologies that will enable the very latest mobile, enterprise, IoT and automotive systems to be deployed in the market.

This exciting opportunity requires a Verification Engineer with a proven track record of contributing to the success of complex IPs, subsystems or SoC designs. You will be part of a small but highly focused team, working closely with architects, design and implementation teams on the next generation sub-systems using cutting edge technologies and methodologies for verification.

·  Education and Qualifications
·  A good, relevant degree (ideally in Electronics or Computer Science) or equivalent.

Essential Skills and Experience

·  Strong knowledge of digital design
·  Object Oriented programming concepts
·  Expertise of Verilog and SystemVerilog and verification methodologies – UVM/OVM/eRM
·  Perl, Python or other scripting language
·  Testplan creation and tracking
·  Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively in English

Desirable Skills and Experience

·  A good understanding of ARM System Architectures
·  Low-level programming experience including C and Assembler
·  Formal verification techniques
·  A thorough understanding and experience of the current verification strategies required for complex SoC development, including software based techniques
·  Power aware verification
·  Clock domain crossing verification
·  Hardware emulation / acceleration
